KopiO White Russian
Cream, with structure.
The White Russian often collapses under its own sweetness. This version tightens the build, using KopiO® to bring coffee bitterness and restraint back into the drink.
KopiO provides roasted depth and a dry finish, preventing the drink from becoming flat or cloying. Coffee is no longer decorative — it’s structural.
Ingredients (Serves 1)
Build
40 ml vodka
30 ml KopiO® Coffee Liqueur
20 ml fresh cream (lightly chilled)
Garnish (Optional)
Light cocoa dusting
Grated dark chocolate
Method
1. Chill
Fill a rocks glass with ice.
Cold glassware keeps the drink tight.
2. Build
Add vodka and KopiO® directly over ice.
Stir briefly to integrate.
3. Layer
Slowly pour cream over the back of a spoon.
Do not stir.
4. Serve
Leave layered, or gently stir once before drinking.
Serving Notes
Use real cream, not milk

While the White Russian demonstrates how KopiO performs in creamy, softened builds, its structure becomes even more visible in sharper formats. In The Espresso Martini Done Properly – Why the Right Coffee Liqueur Matters, clarity under dilution is the defining test. In desserts like KopiO Chocolate Mousse, finish determines whether richness feels refined or heavy.
