KopiO Martini

Coffee first. Everything else follows.

The Espresso Martini is often built backwards — sweetened first, then corrected. This version starts with coffee structure and lets KopiO® do the work it’s meant to do.

Dry. Focused. Controlled. KopiO reinforces roast and length, allowing the drink to stay sharp without relying on excess sugar or foam tricks. The coffee reads clearly, from first aroma to finish.

Ingredients (Serves 1)

Build

  • 40 ml vodka

  • 30 ml KopiO® Coffee Liqueur

  • 30 ml freshly brewed espresso, hot

  • 5–10 ml simple syrup (optional, adjust sparingly)

Garnish

  • 3 coffee beans

Method

1. Prepare

Pull espresso fresh.
Hot coffee matters — it drives crema and aroma.

2. Shake

Add vodka, KopiO®, espresso, and syrup (if using) to a shaker filled with ice.
Shake hard for 10–12 seconds.

3. Strain

Double strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass.

4. Garnish

Place three coffee beans on the foam.
Nothing else.

Serving Notes

  • Skip syrup if your espresso has proper bitterness

  • Use a neutral vodka — let coffee lead

  • Serve immediately while the foam is tight
